Safety glass of 4mm
The safety glass, which ACD® selects meticulously, is 7 times as strong as drawn greenhouse glass.
The safety glass has polished side edges.
This makes self-assembly even safer, easier and it provides extra sturdiness!
If the safety glass should break, it breaks into harmless, small pieces, like a car window.
Unique self-supporting foundation with double chamber
The sturdy double foundation profile is unique in the hobby greenhouse industry and it ensures a quick and easy installation.
This foundation also ensures maximum bearing capacity. The glass is nicely integrated into the profile and it prevents glass breakage this way.
Due to the stability of this foundation, the greenhouse construction can withstand severe weather or ground movement, due to drought, frost or flooding.
Professional corner profiles
The aluminum corner profiles with their unique design carry a large part of the conservatory’s construction. They are designed taking into account aesthetics & maximum sturdiness.
Tube and tubular-shaped glass lines
These industrial profiles ensure a strong, whole unit. They are also provided with the necessary slots to confirm your tables, shelves and conductors easily.
Due to their specific shape, torsion and glass breakage is avoided during strong winds and snowfalls.
Stainless steel nuts and bolts
The use of stainless steel bolts and nuts guarantees a sturdy and durable construction.
Each individual element of the conservatory, small or large, is attached with one or more stainless bolts and nuts.
This makes the whole easy to disassemble and move. Moreover, they ensure that your greenhouse/conservatory can be set up multifunctionally.
Large skylight with storm protection
The conservatory is equipped with a large skylight with hammered safety glass and a unique storm lock.
The skylight can be opened manually by means of a sturdy plug, which can also be easily stored. This skylight also provides the necessary ventilation and supply of fresh air.
Spacious and large outdoor gutter with universal drainpipes
This spacious gutter profile ensures smooth drainage and conduction of rainwater.
This way, the rainwater can also be collected in a rain barrel and used in your greenhouse.
Wide and high condensation gutter
All ACD Prestige greenhouses are equipped with a wide and high condensation gutter for direct drainage of condensed water.
This results in minimal moss and algae growth and prevents mould formation and glass breakage in the event of frost or freezing rain.
Closed tubular-shaped ridge beam
This sturdy, self-supporting ridge profile ensures optimum carrying capacity and strength, due to its specific and large tubular shape.
The profile has been specially developed to minimize wind and snow loads.
Water and windproof rubber strips
These rubber strips ensure that the glass is firmly pressed into the glass lines.
Each window is secured in specially provided slots at the top and at the bottom of the profile; this ensures that glass displacements and glass breakages are avoided.
High & very accessible sliding door
Our Prestige greenhouses are equipped with high, accessible sliding doors that reach all the way above the gutter.
This spacious opening provides easy access with a wheelbarrow, your large patio plants, etc.
The sliding door (compared to a revolving door) ensures optimum space utilization.
Extra corner and ridge reinforcement plates
These unique reinforcement plates are mounted meticulously in your greenhouse and they offer extra strength against strong gusts of wind and weight influences due to, amongst others, wind and snow loads.
These extra reinforcement plates ensure that the roof, the façades and the side walls are always connected to one another.
Sturdy wind bracing (draw bars)
The many draw bars are always firmly attached to permanent, fixed points.
This is done with the right tension, so that the greenhouse is sturdy during strong gusts of wind. This way, the greenhouse remains straight and glass breakage is avoided.
The wind bracing elements also ensure a logical assembly of the greenhouse.
Frosted safety glass of 4 mm in the roof
The roof of every Prestige greenhouse is equipped with frosted 4 mm safety glass.
This ensures an optimum distribution of the light, with better cultivation as a result. The prevention of combustion and minimizing condensation are additional assets.
